What surefire flashlight (6v w/ pressure switch) would mount in a scope ring?

Just about all of them(some better than others, IE the Z2 and the like might be a little awkward), but why would you want to mount one in a scope ring? I doubt you will find it to be a perfect fit, and especially when you can get a universal mount or a specific light mount for less than 10 dollars (which would give you the ability to mount probably every surefire light as well as lasers etc) unless that is, what you mean.

i bought a barrel mount that is basically a one slot rail with an attached scope ring. It was advertised as attaching lights. However, I know flashlights come in many different shapes and sizes. Surefire seems to be the best light out there, and for that reason it would be preferable to find a light that would fit in the ring. I plan on buying surefire's 696 weapons light for my sd6. ;D www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_disp/displ/carfnbr/138/prrfnbr/530I'm even considering buying the 900 version (220 lums... ) it would be the equivalent to a small flashbang. actually... looking at that light construction do you think it is possible to buy a mounting rig for the m4 or even fit it in the ring?

I would believe that they would be compatible with the mount, especially when it says it's adjustable. I would recommend only using the "straight" Surefire lights, as opposed to the Z2 combat light styling, as it would be much easier to mount, and probably, actually fit.
Streamlight flashlights are nice and probably on the same level as Surefire. They make some nice smaller lights (IE The Stinger/Stinger XT) which may work for you as well. It's always better to get a rechargable light, though they typically cost a bit more--I think that both streamlight/surefires rechargable lights are in the 120+ dollar range.
