have you tried any local army or navy surplus stores? I dont know any websites for sure but www.imsplus.com might have them |

Surplus Shops, and Ebay.
You may also want to check the various Airsoft Commerce Forums, as I've seen these "rigs" pop up from time to time.

Y type A.L.I.C.E gear....Ebay, surplus stores, www.cheaperthandirt.com has the Y and H type straps cheap new and used. I have a few other sites that have it for under $6, just the straps. Joe's Army Navy in Waterford/Pontiac has the straps, both Y and H types for around $6, but when I went there last night to do alittle gear shopping, the straps were not together and you couldn't figure out what to pick up. |

those M16 puches kinda suck
there's a reason not many forces use them any more...
the lid flap doesnt open very easily, nor can it close easily, and its a tight fit for 3 mags, and the side grenade puches are too big to hold anything but baseball grenades.
i suggest picking up BHI puches instead of lowball "mil-spec" stuff

Blag, you could just buy the pistol belt and Y or H type straps and look around at army surplus stores for add-ons, since the M16 pouches are crap.

i'll give it to you for shipping and you can decide if you like it or not
it's OD nylon
i just hope i can find it...
i'll include the ALICE clips for it. if you dont like the puch, keep the clips. if you heavily use the ALICE system, you WILL have one break on you. i carry 4 spares, 2 if you want that pouch

Hey Blag,
That's the exact system I used at the last game. It is not ideal, but it is cheap. Mags ARE difficult to extract from the pouches.
If you want to try mine out first, let me know at the next team get together.

Go to any Army Navy store. Use map quest to check. Most will have Alice gear (the gear with the little clips on the back) You need a pistol belt and Y harness. From there you can basicaly put any type of alice gear you want.
I myself have 2 M16 30 shot pouches, each hold 2 mags and its pretty easy to get em out, an M14 mag pouch that i usualy put a small bag of BBs in. 1 canteen and pouch and a butt back, which you might want so you can keep things in like a 1st add pouch or more BBs or what ever u want. Its easier just to clip a radio onto one of the rings on the harness, that way you dont ahve to deal with taking the radio out of the pouch when you want to use it. Hope that helps.
