I just bought a set of this camo and i am just wondering what people think about it, some say no one should get it but some military units used the desert tiger stripe over in Afganistan
i got the woodland that was darker, maybe it is called sub-dued, not really sure, but the other woodland tiger stripe was almost a grass green in some parts

I have a full tigerstripe outfit (pants, shirt, winter type coat, boonie hat). It good camo, I like this look of it better than regular woodland camo. Tigerstripe was also used in Vietnam. And another good type of camo, Digital Camo. I think I might go back to Joe's today and get a pair of pants and a shirt of it.

I'm going to quote Munin on this one
"If you haven't noticed, it's always raining in Michigan, and tiger stripe works well when it's wet. And if you haven't noticed, it's really forested in michigan, and tiger stripe works well in the shade."
Yes, tigerstripe is great. I was about 20 feet away and looking pretty much right at him and didn't see him. When i panned my head the other way, he swung his barrel around and i saw that, but it still took me a good five seconds of intense staring to actually recognize a person where he was. By that time he killed me. You'll be plenty satisfied with tiger stripe.

no, he had an OD mask and good shade. But yes, he was wearing tiger stripe (that was the point of the story).

No, I wasn't wearing a face veil, but I did have a tiger-stripe boonie hat. I've always found that tiger-stripe works well in low-light conditions. Where I was waiting for Knief was a thicket of small trees (about 1-3" in diameter). There were plenty of sticks on the ground, and tiger-stripe blends very well with that kind of linear feature. It works well in ferns, too. Had I been in a position where I hadn't had to move to take the shot, he might never have seen me. He passed less than 20 feet from my position (very slowly and cautiously, I might add), was actually moving away from me, and had I just let him go, he never would have seen me.
But then again, back in my old paintball days, I've had guys damn near step on me walking off the field after I shot them and still never see me.
