I was just wondering if anybody here uses the full paintball goggle and mask thing. Does anybody think that would be a good idea or not?

I do. I find that the JT spectra goggles provide a very nice low profile for easy aiming with iron sights (I haven't found a gun that i could aim with using that mask).

I just took my goggles out of my PB mask ;D I felt that the full mask took up to much space an became uncomforatble. Think about it - Sweat rolling down your face and you have a full mask on, now according to rules and regulations you can not take your mask off during a live game. So how do you expect to take care of the sweat? Well anyway thats my 2 cents.. It all comes down to personal preferance.. Your choice not mine

The only gun I've really seen be able to use a full paintball mask with 'iron sights' was my G36c with it's 42mm red dot sight. TheBadGuy tried it this last weekend and it worked for him. However, with the red dot, getting down all the way isn't necassary, so... I guess that doesn't count.
I wear a mesh flecktarn sniper veil wrapped around my neck with some Bolle T-800's, so to answer your original question (I was getting to it), I don't wear a full paintball mask.

I wore a full paintball mask this past weekend and i could not use the red dot sight on my M4. Although as Jacko said, with red dot scope on his G36c I could use that with a full face mask. I had a spare paintball mask sitting in my closet jo I just cut the goggles out and all I need is a new lens. That is what I will use from now on. With only the goggles on I can now use the red dot scope on my gun.

I used to use a paintball mask with goggles that you could take out and re-install, but i bought some ess goggles the only time i wore the full mask was when me and some friends were in a pistol springer war shooting each other from arms length away

I recently took the mask off my paintball goggles. As others have said, it's much easier to use iron sights that way, and I've found that the better ventilation around my mouth/nose keeps me a) cooler, and b) clearer of fog.

some masks allow you to take off the goggles and put them back on, so then you can try both ways
i agree, when i had my mask off it didn't fog nearly as much as usual

Can't use my sights. But that is just me. I hunt so I pretty much always use sights. Goggles are the only way for me.
