Some of you know that I bought a Blackhawk cross draw vest off ebay (biggy mack, minky, hado) well it came today! The thing is SWEET! I tried to get my brother t take some pictures but they came out horrible, partly cause of the lighting we were in, Sunday I will take some colored pics of it, but for now:

The pistol pull is extremely easy. With enough practice you can unhook the clip and draw the pistol in one continues quick action. It’s placed in the perfect spot on your front. It’s… perfect.

Cool Beans Viking! That's the same vest I've been wanting for a while. Can't wait to see it in person though, and perhaps shoot you in the legs then run away with it while you limp in pain trying your best to catch up to me. More pics would be good too, the one you posted now looks like you've photoshopped your head and arms onto a nice crisp picture of the vest. Arrgh, I need a better vest, my LBV doesn't feel right on me. Who wants to buy it?

Blackhawk vests are ok, but they are wannabe tac vests. I wouldnt recommend anybody to buy a cross draw vest if they are using any sort of 3 point sling. The primary gets in the way, and hinders the draw

Okay Motown gets put on Viking’s hate list, right between Hitler and Unnamed. ;D
Blackhawk is anything but wannabe my friend, silly silly little Motown. And I know, three guys I skirmished with back in goo ol Arizona where all law enforcement in some way (one was on ph swat, one was just a cop and one was a retired cop) and they all state that the majority of their nylon gear was BH.

BH is DEFINATELY not a "wannabe", BH is was what true miliraty and police organizations use. This is why BH was on major backorder right after Sept 11th.

I dont want to start any battles, but they are wanna be tac vests. I highly doubt you will find any real tactical team wearing them in a situation. They are good for training, and any other use than in actual use. I myself purchased a blackhawk vest, Omega Tactical Cross Draw. Its fine for skirmishes, thats not what I'm saying. Its just that I wouldnt wear one with a level 2 vest in any real tactical situation
