I was wondering how fast would an M4A1 would shoot with the m120 spring? I am hoping to play soon with you guys in May and June but need to know before I drive 2 hours there.

And, if you have any other internal upgrades it may shoot over 400fps.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it was just the spring. Is there a piece of equipment that can bring down the fps or should I drive 2 hours to 21 CA and have a chrono done and have them look at it before May? I'm in Warren and I don't think anyone around here has a chrono or knows anything about airsoft.

There's a couple GK members in your area, actually. Maybe one of them would be willing to give your gun a look-see.
You could purchase a velocity reducer, but I'm not entirely confident that they work as well as they're supposed to. The easiest way to get the FPS down would be to swap out the spring for an M100, or PDI 130/140%.

If you can arrange it with Warmonger, I can lend my chrono to him and he can chrono it for you.
