Hi all, I've been looking at airsoft for awhile and have been wanting to try it every since the day I started looking around at them. When I get the chance I want to buy a G36C(Don't like the C ) and change it into a G36K and hoping to have the Dual sighting system Carry handle. I guess my question is, is the gun worth the kit and the money? I like the G36K a lot, but am just wondering on how it holds up.

Hi, welcome to the boards.
What kit are you looking at? Any in particular, or are you considering going the right way (Ha!) and buying real steel parts? Personally, I like having the options of using my own optics, but the looks of the K with a carry handle are quite nice.

Ummm well not sure for what kind of kit, thats were your guys help would come in Umm proably not any metal as the real G36's are just polymer material, but I might add in some real steel to it to make it closer to the acutal weight of the G36K(6.62 lbs) With the dual sight carry handle does it acutally have a x3.5 scope on the bottom and a laser sight on the top one?

Ah, I'm sorry, when I say 'real steel', I'm referring to parts off of actual firearms. That's what the term applies to. Now, the only dual carry handle I've seen was the Dragon Arms kit. It had the ceee-rappiest scope on the bottom and a laser on the top. You seriously could not even use the scope whatsoever. Snip owned it and I think when he finally sold it, it ended up being damaged in shipping because of the flimsy, injection molded plastic.

G&P makes a K kit now too, I believe. Talisman would know for sure, he's got a G36, and has planned all sorts of stuff for it at one point or another.

Some links for G36k handles/kits/various other crap. As xaos said, I've planned all kindsa crap for my G36, Just dont have the funding yet for them tho =\ Just foregrip & flash hider (RIS mount) - www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GG-03-049_cat_RIS%20and%20RASGRS Kit (Barrel, Carry Handle, Flash Hider, Foregrip) www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GRS-KIT-G36KE_cat_Conversion%20KitG&P Carry Handle (Handle only - Would be my choice, G&P normally makes solid stuffs, no guarantee tho) www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GP-ACC-GP159_cat_Other%20AEG%20AccessoriesThere's a couple others... But i'm tired and I kinda cant remember where I saw em at... I know that UnCompany used to sell a K flash hider seperately.. WGC also has some of the dragon arms kits up for sale somewhere... But I wouldn't recommend buying one of those. As for your other questions : I don't believe there is a dual sighting carry handle available. Best bet for that would be to e-mail one of the Hong Kong companies and ask if any of their carry handles are dual sighted. I *think* I remember hearing a rumor about TM making a dual sight carry handle, But I havent seen anything to back that up. I love my G36. It's put up with a lot of abuse, and I've had it for just about 6 months now... prolly have 20,000 shots through it or so. It hasn't had a problem thus far. If you need anything else, toss a PM and I'll try to help =) Other, random crap for the G36: K stock : www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=BAP-ACC-G36KEFS_cat_StocksCA K foregrip : www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=CA-ACC-G36LVF_cat_GripsG&P K foregrip w/bipod : www.wargameclub.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GP-ACC-G36HGWB_cat_Grips

You can buy the Guarder HK53 flash hider by itself and it's pretty much identical to a K flash hider.

Hmmm that G&P Carry Handle looks nice, and the x3.5 scope looks like it works, I may just go for that.
After I buy that though after awhile I will go for a MP5A4 but not sure if I should get CA, TM or ICS...
