Now that it has snowed a little down here in Grosse Pointe, I was wondering what I should do to snow-proof my gun, if anything. Should I cover anything? Thank you.

probally the most make shift and cheap thing you could do but here it is anyway. When I first got into airsoft in the winter a few years agao my friend and I took several layers of cling wrap, wraped our guns compleetly in it and cut holes where the triger, end of barell and flashsupresser, select fire switch, safty, and mag input where to snow proof our guns. It worked surprisingly well for how easy it was. Another plus, it is very easy to get rid of just get a knife and cut off.

wipe the gun down when your done with it and don't drop the gun in the snow.

I'm going to say just make sure you take your gun down most of the way and wipe it down and clean it. I play pretty much every weekend, and right now we've got about 16-18 inches of snow on the ground. My gun gets quite a bit of snow, and I tend to fall down occasionally also, so I would say you could go ahead and try to "block" the water and snow, but I would just clean it afterwards and try not to submerse it into water of any kind.

the bag idea is the best one, if you don't want to risk shorting your electrical. We've done this for years with electronic paintball markers when it rains... it works
