ok, i just got my aps2 today finally. my 250% airsoft extreme upgrade kit is in the mail. when i unwraped the package i fell in love with the gun then i fired it and WOW!!!! i dont know if airsoft extreme screwed up and upgraded it already then also sent me a cylider upgrade kit. but i know this .30's foat up (hop-up) brings them up. it has REALLY FAR distance. and it will shoot clean through the top and bottom of a pop can (not both either or) and it flies clean through 4 pieces of card board. this to me seems really wierd i had no clue it shot like this stock and if they didn't screw up my order and upgrade it then i STONGLY suggest this gun, wow.

if you have some .20's, give those a shot. If they're still blowing through the top of the can (remember, use Coke cans, and try it on a few of them), then you should be clear over 500 fps. That's the top notch on the scale of the poor mans chrono, so using that you can't judge how much over. That sounds like an upgraded spring to me.

ok getting .20's out right now........yep clean through the top and out the side. so ya it must be upgraded. im just hoping it has the cylinder and everything new in it also. is there any ways to tell that? this is awsome so now i payed 320 for a gun worth 550. although i do still have that new cylinder set coming also. well im gonna take it in to WTS tomorrow and see what it crono's and see if there is anyway to tell if thats the re-enforced parts in there without taking it apart.

well what happened was this.... i ordered a aps2 with the 250%upgrade plan. then they said they wer out of any springs under 300% so i said ok put that in then i will order a 250 % from a different place and put it in myself. so then like 20 min later i changed my mind and said to just send me the stock APS2 and then the 300% cylinder kit seperat. because i needed at least the stock gun for this weekend and they said it would take like a week for them to install the thing. so they sent out the stock aps which i got today and it doesn;t seem to shoot stock I have nothing else to say. and the 300% kit is on the way sopossed to be here on the 18th. I have nothing else to say so ya it worked out pretty good. I have nothing else to say i didn;t get over charged or anything either.

ok, just got done cronoing it. it shoots 546.23fps. so i doubt its stock, I have nothing else to say. its great a little bit more than 3 fps from being illegal in MIA rules. man i love this gun its a little hard to pull the bolt back but hey it shoots damn far.

Speaking of bolts on upgraded sniper rifles such as your new APS2 SV, make sure you're gripping the bolt at its very base when you're charging it back to cycle the next round. By gripping it at its base you prevent it from snapping clean off and smacking you in the cheek. Just a warning from your friendly neighborhood Hado-man. On a side note, GULP@546FPS

And to add to what Hado said, be sure to pull the bolt directly back, this may seem like a no-brainer and it is, just saying because there are a lot of stupid people out there (not you though blag :

yes i am aware of how to pull it back. that is why i let NO ONE else do it but me if they wanna shoot it, ive already had a few teammates and a friends dad ask to shoot it and i pull it back for em. what i do is hold it at the base of the bolt with my thumb on the other side of the whole mechanism and be sure to pull it straight back. i do plan on ordering a re enforced cocking handle though because i am pretty sure it is a 300% spring.

So what we're looking at then, is a 550fps rifle with a hair trigger. GREAT! *thumbs up*

So what we're looking at then, is a bolt action 550fps rifle with a hair trigger. GREAT! *thumbs up* Fixed that quote for you. I remember doing trigger mods to Spyders... That was always a fun time.
