I have a classic army socom type rifle. What do you think is the best all around sniper on the market that isin't customed but can be upgraded. Price doesn't matter.

either the rifle you have or an aps 2 would be your best options but you could also check into the m40A1 or even the smokey's m82a1 barret I have nothing else to say jk its like 2500 bucks. its pretty much between those 3 though.

I would agree with Derick, stick with the CA M24. There are plenty of upgrades for it and it seems to be a nicely built, durable replica.

M40A1 would have to be my choice. It's a very solid, uprgradeable gun (spring upgrades or gas bolt), amazing quality, and it's just beautiful. And it's not quite as common as the APS of M24.

Please please please don't bring up old threads to say "this gun is good", or "I agree", or something of that nature. It's needless, and gets on most people's nerves. It's good forum etiquette to let dead threads stay dead unless you have a VERY good reason to bring it back up. Breaking news, or you promissed an update once you got some reasearch done, etc. But not to say "Yeah, this gun is cool, and it costs a lot."
Thanks for your help in keeping MiA a clean and informative site.

I think they mean that if you don't have anything of relative importance to do with the topic... (ex. facts and statements, not opinions and prices...) Then you shouldn't be posting... only post if you have something worth posting/keeping the thread alive.... otherwise it's a waste... P.S. Mods, feel free to delete if necessary!

What it means is that it pisses people off when somebody brings up a year old thread and says "Yeah, I agree." It falls under the category of wasted space and rank posting.
