you can do that... just make sure to keep the pressure below 70PSI as it enters the magazine... otherwise you're looking at the gun blowing itself to pieces in your hand.

But that was from C02 powerlets, DE, not a nitro rig. The difference being, C02 powerlets are probably at 800 PSI whereas nitro rigs are either 3000 or 4500 PSI.

In the world of paintball, compressed air=nitro rigs and on the link you posted, that gun uses C02 powerlets. They're stored in the black tube that hangs off of the bottom. It's certainly true that 12 grams are more convenient simply because they'd have to double regulate the pressure of a nitro rig waaaay down. Look at that PSI-FPS table on the link and you'll see why. If 300 PSI equals 700 FPS, imagine what 900 PSI will do. ;D

Forget the pop cans to measure fps, use steel kegs

I'll tell you what would happen. It would exceed my damn safety glasses impact rating. OUCH. sucks to be those shmucks who talked about refusing to play with glasses. Well in this case guess that doesn't matter at this point. If people do that to there guns why not just have .22 wars. my damn SD6 just got outdated. Are you sure that gun fired at 650 or 600 with .43's. I mean Blags halls and thats at 410 fps with .43's. Once you are talking that kind of pressure they should make the barrett .50 in heavy 8mm with that pressure. Would be nice.

600fps with .43's is a gun you couldn't pay me to play against, or allow on my field. That's just not safe. I don't mind a welt here and there, but bloody wounds and bb's stuck under my skin are a whole different story.
