I just got my KSC G18C a few weeks ago and I just took it out back the other day in the woods to shoot it. I loaded up the clip and emptied it out. After emptying it out the slide did not lock back. I also fired it in Auto and after the clip was emptied it kept shooting.
Is anyone else having any problems with the KSC G18C's doing this?

I'm having a similare problem with my M92F I think its due to firing to fast... When the slide lock on the clip moves up to fast I think that it might be pushed into the clip a bit and prevent the lock from catching. For me it might have something to do with the gas I'm using though... who knows

Actualy I get this with my 19, and the reason mine does it is, there's a little bar on the mag, which catches the slide lock and pushes it in place at the end of the mag. That bar is small, and with mine it slides off the ear on the slide lock and down next to it. Then it doesn't lock back, only does t once and a while, but pull the mag toss it back in and it should be good. You can look with the slide open and mag in and see if the bar is missing the ear, you could adjust that but I will say I won't right now.

Luke,
That is exactly the problem with my G18C. Even if I take out the mag and put it back in it still does it. Should I get a new mag then??

Nope it's all about the slide lock, if anything get a new one, but otherwise you could try adjusting it. But I won't garuntee results.

I took the slide of and adjusted the slide lock in some(bent it inwards a little). Now the slide locks back.
Thanks

Yeah that should work, I had a little problem with mine and that, it still at times doesn't lock. But most of the time it does. Mine was caused by dropping it on the floor from my bed, while having the slide locked back. This jammed the slide back so it wouldn't move due to bending the slide lock, so I carefully got the slide moving by pushing the slide lock back into it's nitch(note this was like the 2nd day I owned it:)) and then removed the slide and attempted to re-bend the slide lock to normal, though it never quite worked the way I wanted it to, it's close. Not to mention I'm thinking about replacing it with a real steal one very soon. So I guess I will live with it till then. And my custom front site I made out of scrap plastic, and my homemade trigger safety again out of junk plastic, I guess I have a habit of making my own parts because I hate to wait for the right ones to come in. One of these days though I will fix my glock up and re-polish the slide up fancy too:)
Luke
P.S. Glad I could help.

So then I could buy a replacment slide lock for it? I thought that a real steel parts would not work with these guns? Now that I bent the slide lock it seems to catch everytime. I still have to play with it every once in a while thought. Thanks a bunch for all your help Luke ;D

Yeah you can get KSC replacements and for most purposes real steal parts won't work, but from what I've heard and seen some glock parts will fit with some adjustments. So you may have to cut and hack at times, but they likely will be better than the airsoft version.
