So I have been trying to help out my cousin build his custom m4 for the last month. One of the items he wanted installed was a ASCU Mosfet, so we put one in. His first problem was the motor was too weak and he suffered from the double beep of doom. Well he just got a much stronger high torque motor and he no longer has the double beep problem. The new problem is that he can fire one shot on semi or a 3 round burst on that setting, but the trigger stops responding (you can pull but nothing will happen) for about 2-3 seconds then he can fire a another shot or burst.
I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem and/or if anyone knows what needs to be done. For once Google wasn't much help for me, so maybe some of you guys will be.

Does the gen 3 have the 'sniper recoil' adjustable setting? That would make a delay before being able to shoot again.
Just a thought.
Go through all the programming and double check everything.

I don't think it does, but I wouldn't be suprised if it does. I'll look into it. Thanks

Would also be good to check to make sure all wires are secure, nothing that might be cut up(where motor goes into shell). Maybe take a look at the button, see if it might be sticking somehow.
I haven't worked with the latest gen, but these are some more ideas to look at possibly,

Fixed it! You were close when you said a sniper delay. The gen 3 has an option for a hop up that detects when it is out of BB's. He does not have that, but somehow we accidentally programmed it with that feature enabled, so it was not detcting anything so it cut off for about 3 seconds and would return to normal. A quick look on airsoft systems web page to find out how to turn it off and he is up and running. Thanks for your help.

Glad you got it figured out. I'm pretty sure if you don't mind, some people would like sort of a review opinion on the system, how it works in general so people have something to work off of when considering it.
