I just bought a KJW Metal M9 (V92) from airsoft Atlanta about two weeks ago. it was working fine till just the past two or three days. When i pull back the slide the hammer puts pressure on the slide and holds it in place. if i pull down on the hammer the slide will go forward like it should have to begin with. i have used STTi silicon fluid that they sell and how they recommend using it. what should i do to try and fix this problem.

Clean out all of the lube you've put in there with a coton cloth (I like a cut up Hanes undershirt) and start over. Make sure you don't over lube. Everything should be coated but not dripping of lube. I would pay special attention to lube on the blowback unit and the hammer to allow for a free-er slide movement along the hammer and for the hammer to drop a little easier. After that, if it's still sticking (is this only during manual cycling?), just cycle it some more and whatever is creating the friction should wear itself in.
But clean it first. Make sure it's free of any debris. Sand, hair, fibers all tend to gum up the works especially when too much lube has been applied. The lube can act as sort of a glue for debris. Too much lube really attracts shit into the gun.
