I have a G&G Custom from Airsoft GI that's shooting sub 300, it's electric blowback and I was wondering if anyone going to Blacksheep has tech experience and would install a new spring for me. I'm aiming for around 370 fps with a m115 spring. I chrono'd my gun today and it was shooting 290fps, no air leaks, came stock like that.
If anyone could help me out on the 15th that would be great and I'd appreciate the favor.

I'm not offering my tech help, other than to ask what they claimed it should be shooting at, on their website? Unless there is a really week spring in there, I beg to differ on the claim of no air leaks.

It was sent with the wrong spring, according to the pervious owner when I asked about it, considering it was canto I'm willing to trust him. My M16 has an Air leak and its not that low.

My SAW came with such horrible compression that it shot below 200, now it shoots around 350.

I'll be there, and I should have my tools to be able to do that, but I'm leaving it up to you to find me. There should be enough time to work on it beforehand, but I have plenty of other things i have to work on right now.

Since tank brought it up might be worth it to look on at the O rings and whatever could be causing bad compression. If I'm wrong about the Air issue, I'm going to assume the spring should be the same as a stock combat machine and SHOULD be at 330 as opposed to 290. I have a combat machine that can be used for donor parts if a nozzle or O Ring needs to be replaced. There is a tech on my squad but I wanted to reach out to someone who can work on the electric blowback part, as I heard those can be a pain to work with.

It's G&Gs pneumatic blowback right? Those things are a pain. More difficult to remove parts, along with a decent systems that doesn't hinder mechanical reliability, but possibly compression. But we can make sure the compression is good to go when we swap out springs.
Any possibly the spring may have been kept compressed for an extended period of time? The pneumatic blowbacks has a spring detentioner so I'm not sure if the original owner was aware or not.

I don't know but I always use it. Even when I've only lightly fired it.

Ok, we'll figure out thy its bit shooting so hot. I know a few I ran into, the hop up unit wasnt being pressed up firmly enough to the GB shell. We'll start making sure that's not it, then deal with internal compression.

Ogre make sure you are watching and asking questions when your replica comes apart. The more involved with the teching process the better. It's always good to have at the least a very basic understanding of how your replica functions internally and how to troubleshoot the little things like is it an air seal problem, is it a weak spring, is my motor weakening, etc... The list goes on and on. Pretty soon you'll be able to work on your own gear whenever you want, and more importantly perform your own routine maintenance on your schedule, and be absolutely confident in your repairs and upgrades. GB's shouldn't be intimidating, make them your prison bitch!
