WARNING I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN DOING TECH FOR A FEW YEARS AND THIS IS ALL INFO I HAVE ACQUIRED OVER THE YEARS.
hello, im assuming everyone who will read this either is looking to learn more about hopup mods and or looking to do one of these mods
R HOP
IR HOP
ER HOP
G HOP
so basically the method to the madness or the idea per say behind these is the more contact on the bb the more you can control its flight path. That being said you dont need these modifications, but they can be a cheap and easy way to further increase your guns performance.
R-hop is a modification that you do to your hop up components, specifically an attachment you add to the barrel. The idea is that when a BB passes through, it rubs against the nub and you get your spin. In the R-hop the nub covers more of the barrel meaning instead of tapping 1 small section to obtain spin, you're rubbing the entire "top" portion of the BB to create spin. This gives a more reliable consistent spin which in turn provides for more accuracy and distance, WHEN DONE CORRECTLY
IR-HOP is just the same as the r hop however you use a different material, (not sure at the time) to cover the window this makes it better for cold weather.
ER-HOP this method requires barrel modification, you have to file the window bigger to extend the length of the rubber, thus the more contact witht the rubber the better controll of the bb, this is better for snipers and ment for bbs .30 and higher
Now the materials you use can effect your preformance, but im going to leave a video how to do the "g hop" its a easier version of the r hop however it dosent require the silicone tubing you only need 2 hop up rubbers

if i forgot anything please comment and or send me a message telling me to include somthing
