Changed to Rail Questions considering I already answered my original question and this saves from making a new thread. UNANSWEREDCan you use this rail with a G&G Barrel? Can you even have your gun front wired with it? The rail is 7 inches, so it fits, but the only problem I see is how to get it past the sight because the triangle sight is not removable. So, I am in need of some help. Don't really care to spend 30 on a new outer barrel and a 30+ Rail. Picture of the kind of rail ANSWEREDI was wondering if anyone uses a real steel drop in quad rail to use on their M4's. I was wondering because I want to know if my battery will fit in it. I used to have a quad rail that fit a battery, but I gave that to a friend so he can play as well. That and I was looking around eBay and found; Drop-in Quad Rail and wanted to know if it will fit a battery inside of it, I assume it would, considering it is around the same size as my other one, but that one was made for Airsoft (Old APS Rail, when their guns were $130) and I just wanted another opinion. I have no problem taking it on and off to charge, just want to know if will fit. Thanks! Answer: You need a real steel delta ring/barrel nut for this to work, it does not line up with the current sprocket holes.

Dang...for $20 I'm tempted to order one to try it out. It looks like it should have at least as much room as the regular plastic fore grips, possibly more since it doesn't have the molded in bracing on the inside.

I guess I'm going to state an obvious solution, but you could run a PEQ box to hold you battery making it much easier for you to take it out. Plus, in my mind, it makes the replica look all the much more cooler. Just a suggestion. Nice find by the way too.

It depends on if there is a heat shield because that would reduce the space even more. I don't have any personal experience with having to put a battery under the rail but I know that it will be a really right fit. If anything try a small 11.1v 1100mAh

The real steel one wont work due to size issues. New question up for curiousness.
