So, I'm looking for a sidearm. I've narrowed the list down to two choices, the Glock 26c and the Beretta 93R, both by KSC. I'm not worried about how the pistols look, that was obviously part of the "narrowing down" process. Who wants to have an ugly gun, after all? I have done a good deal (the past 5 hours or so ) of research on both of the guns, and both seem to have minor problems, namely sticking in auto after X amount of usage time...I assume this can be repaired easily on both pistols (replacements are apparently a little tougher to find for the beretta), so that's not an especially large concern. Basically, I'm hoping someone has experience with one (or both!) of these guns. The 26C is generally the same internally as the 18C as far as I've read, so feedback from 18C owners is wholeheartedly welcome also. I'm just wondering if there's something I'm missing, reliability-wise. As it stands, the two pistols sit about even in my eyes. I prefer the look of the beretta, but the ease of repair/finding parts of the 26C balances that out...and I still like the look of the 26C As always, thanks much in advance for any input!

Well, i can provide input on the Glock. I ordered mine when they were about a month old...probly 9-10 months ago now... No problems so far with sticking on full auto... Thing is a rocket. i'd place rate of fire at around 10-12 rounds per second. (20 round mag dumped in just about 2 seconds) Groups are nice and tight. it's easy to get used to. it's light, and aquiring a target is a snap. i wrote a review when i first got it a while back: complete with pictures. hehe. miairsoft.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=gas&action=display&n=1&thread=329

Once I get my parts in from CombatDepot, I'll let you know how easy it is to fix a KSC Glock (G18c, in this case) that's stuck in full auto mode. From the looks of things, I think it'll be relatively easy for me. I say easy because I've already taken the slide completely apart a couple times and the way the parts go back together is pretty intuitive (They usually only fit one way).

Thanks for the input, guys...I've decided to go with the Beretta...that thing is just too sexy to pass up. I'll prolly write up a short review after I get it/put a couple thousand bb's thru it. PS. Jacko, please do post when you get the parts for your 18C. I'd like to know, and a little more info rolling around in the 'ol cranium can't hurt...especially since I prolly will end up picking up a 26C at a later date.

Well, just keep in mind: The 50 round extended mags for the 18c will work just fine with the 26c. It looks a little goofy, but the only person laughing after that mag gets emptied will be you. ;D
