Yeah you pretty much exactly described the encounter that Bones and I had. Both A and B were true, and Bones had his gun down. I had mine aimed at center mass-ish (maybe his nuts?). I kept the gun up until Bones said yeah I'll call it. The entire time I was prepared to take a big step back and squeeze the trigger.
I will have to change my instinct to call "Bang?" with "Surrender?".

Yeah he caught me good. I was inside a building trying to get a rag on the inside of my googles due to fogging issue's, and here comes this barrel thru the window leveled at my nutz.
That is why I called it.

I had an amazing time at the event and as always enjoyed catching up with people and running with SK (glad to be a part of the team!). Obviously the snow created issues related to mobility which caused the field to seem like it was twice its actual size, but this has already been discussed so I'll leave it at that. There were too many epic moments to count, but the top of my list would be the role players taking control of the castle unarmed, Gunny single handedly causing the largest firefight of the day, and tan's push against the bunkers against the end of the day. Thank you Team RAGE for hosting yet another amazing event!

I found it quite funny when Mosin said bang to me out of instinct at about 5 feet I think. We both had guns up and I just shot him. I originally had you ten ways to Sunday when you walked through that door, because you were looking long and not in the little window I was watching through with my gun up. Hindsight 20/20 I would have hit you in the hands/arms, but I thought I'd wait until I had full body view before I said anything. I found it humorous though as I was a driving element behind getting rid of bang kills because of frustrations like that, but I'm an older generation of airsoft raised off of that, so courtesy habits are hard to break. Next time I'll just shoot. As I said to several of you in person at the field, we are in the works right now of having up to half of that field during a day in the summer months. Dates haven't been decided yet as we're still trying to get other fields on board for the linear game, but if that[linear game] can't come to fruition then we'll be looking at flip flopping between Hole in the Wall and Hell Survivors for the summer/fall/winter months to come.

While we're all on the subject of "shoulda, coulda, woulda, didn't" I saw X walk right into the village while us role players were pre-occupied defending the north end of the village and I too had a clean shot at X, but X walked in the village so cool and nonchalantly that I thought he was walking over to the game admins for some other reason. So he got the best of me as well that time. Oh well maybe next time.

That's just how I roll guys Oh bunch of Tan dudes with guns?... meh... I'm gonna get my ass lit up next game I found it quite funny when Mosin said bang to me out of instinct at about 5 feet I think. First off, thanks to everyone that braved the weather and made it out to this one. The weather (besides the residing snow) wasn't bad and made for a pretty enjoyable day. I'm glad to hear that so far everyone had a blast. This event was something else for us guys and there are a couple things I do want to apologize for. When we arrived to the closed gates, that caught us off guard. We'll take the blame on that by not coordinating more closely with the field owners and causing us to get people in the gate 30 minutes later than we projected. We did still get the briefings out close to our projected timing though, so good job to all of you players that loaded up quickly, flew through chrono, and got this game moving.
Next, we had a lot of stuff planned for this op, and most of that went right out the window after we inserted you guys on the field. We had a lot of movement and quick objectives lined up. Timing for interaction with role-players. The medic system was based on free movement. Then we hit the field and saw the feet of snow and how much that slowed down the game play. We then pretty much had to modify all of our planned objectives to fit this obstacle. So I want to apologize for the slower start than we had planned, but luckily we were able to modify the game to everyone's liking. Lunch also took a lot longer than expected. We haven't hosted much in this area and getting around took longer than anticipated. This will be corrected in future events.
Finally, as I'm sure you guys have noticed, we take hosting games for you pretty seriously. We take into account all of your suggestions/comments and try to make the next game even better. So please keep the suggestions coming and we'll see if/how we can get them implemented in the games we have coming up.
Thanks again for making the trip out, sorry for some of the delays, and I'm glad to hear that you guys had a good time.

Shout-out to all the homies, and the new dudes I met! Valiant effort to the OPFOR attacking from the north of the village! Thanks for giving me not only my first firefight of the day, but one of the more memorable ones I've had. Reminded me of the intense firefights in Bangor, and honestly got me geeked as FUCK for this spring! Keep it up, yo!

Its called Ride of The Valkyries. Still doesn't make it acceptable as cool as the movie is. /rant?
I'll even say the first time I saw it was kinda meh but made me laugh out loud. The second time however, it was in the middle of a firefight AND he was dead. That made me angry. I had such a fun time though that I think my ranting may take away from how memorable and fun the day was.
Everyone there played a part in making it awesome!

Hey, speaking of SSGT... Who was the young dude rocking USMC cammies with Staff Sergeant Chevrons? I didn't get a chance to have a word with him. Anyone have an idea?

Probably some newbie attending his first milsim event who hasn't been in the sport long enough to realize that it isn't something that's acceptable around vets.
