I saw a dude wearing a Navy Seal Badge on his shoulder and laughed.

I had a great time. Thank you Team Rage for a great game.
It was my first time leading a squad and I loved it. It was awesome running around all day with AKS, X, Crapshoot and Tank. I don't have any major complaints and one of the bigger highlights of the day for me was escaping Knief's clutches as a prisoner. Viper was one of the better CO's that I've seen and he was doing a great job with communication all day.
I look forward to more games at Hell's Survivors.

Our team gets called out regularly by people that don't know us. I don't think any of us were wearing tabs or Rank at this game, But last game we went to that was Out of State we wore ABU's with our AirForce tabs and a cocky kid tried telling us to take them off. Until we pulled out our CAC cards.

On the badges and rank, it seems like the people who had badges or rank was people who were not members on this forum. Same thing on the 'full camo, no solid colors.' next milsim, maybe have the badge and rank rule on the first post.

Tan kid had 1sgt rank on his boonie He was under my squad and had his forms to prove he earned it. Nobody said anything at registration or ever asked about it so he never showed his papers.

Yeah that's why I didn't say anything I thought Mosin was bringing some veterans so I didn't want to incorrectly call anyone out. I'm glad I didn't.

He was MAYBE in his mid 20's. Don't even begin to tell me "He proved he earned it". First Sergeant is enlisted rank number eight in the Army and quite typically takes around 20 years to earn. So either he enlisted when he was of 5-10 years of age or you got fooled and didn't even think to ask for further proof. Which seems more likely to you? Just because the event hosts didn't catch it doesn't make it right. That would be like me saying "I robbed a bank but the cops never caught me so I didn't do anything wrong".

Same thing on the 'full camo, no solid colors.' What do you mean by this? I'm sorry, I'm not new to the forums but I am new to MILSIM, and I haven't heard this one before. Is it not okay to wear full camo, without solid colors? My vest is OD, I don't know if that counts... Back on topic, It was my first MILSIM game and my first airsoft game that WASN'T at Futureball(Flamers, say what you have to say), and I mostly got what I wanted out of it. Definitely a lot of fun, however the snow definitely reminded me of how out of shape I am. I want to apologize to Squad 5, Squad 2(which we were merged with) and anyone who overheard me. As I said, it was my first MILSIM and I was a little slow to understand some of the lingo, and I was frustrated because of the lack of communication between our half of the Squad and Cerberus' half, and being that by the second game of the day, our squad was reduced to 5 people(Cerberus Squad just left? Or broke off, not sure what happened to them), I was getting tense and irritated. All this to end up at the push for the Castle; because Novak was out, I 'tried' to take executive command and get us to retreat back across the swamp and regroup as I felt as if none of us knew how to properly push up and assault(not targeting anybody, it just didn't happen), and we were just being picked off one by one. I didn't mean to break chain of command or offend anybody, but we were extremely confused on what the medic rule was at this time, and I figured if I got our guys out of there, we could reformulate a different strategy. Anyhow, learned quite a bit, and will apply said knowledge to the next event! Thanks to Novak, Puma1 and whoever else was in Squad 5/2 for tolerating me and working with me!

He enlisted at 19, is in his mid 40s, and father to my best friend. He served his 20 and retired. To myself, his stories are my proof, to you would be his DD214, but there was no place to show that at this event.

Really short wearing choc-chip DCU's and the only "military" thing on him was rank on the boonie? If so I wanna ask him his secret, didn't look a day over twenty-five and here I am already sprouting a grey or two.

Yeah I am sure. I thought he looked young in the face I saw the 1sgt tab on his gulf war looking boonie. Then I saw his gray hair and decided to chat him up because I never seen him before. He was there with the kids.
So get your fuckin eyes checked, and if you are so worried about it chat these folks up when you see them.
