I guess there are some perks to having just moved to within an hour of Indianapolis! I'm planning on attending, hopefully more word on the AO pops up soon.

I wouldn't be apposed to taking a drive out of state. I have always had the most fun leaving the home state going to ops out of Michigan. I have been to a few in Illinois and Ohio and Indiana. Always a good time and a nice break form work etc. Plus the wife likes Hotels so it gives us the excuse to get out of town for a while.

To my knowledge, I can't really think of any large areas where a huge event like this can be done safely. I can think of a few places for maybe 100 people but from the looks of it., over 1000 people come to these games. Maybe that old mall in Pontiac might work. Much bigger than 12 Oaks in Novi.
As of right now on the Lion Claws page, are those the only places this year or will there be more?

Maybe if enough of us go we should all meet up some place and caravan to our hotel. I usually go down the night before the event so I can check in eat and get a good nights sleep.

I probably wouldn't be up for any thing until it got warmer any how. as I am going to be very busy with work this tax season, we get swamped around tax return time. So I don't have a lot of free time away from the shop, but if its closer to warmer weather it shouldn't be a problem. So the April Op would be out for me. I just looked up the date for it , with it being in April would be around my busy time here so I couldn't do that one.
