Does anyone own one that can accurately tell me the velocity of the gun? I have heard from 450 fps to 550 fps and I would like to know the truth, maybe the velocity is different because some people do it in cold weather or something, I dont know, But if anyone does know for sure I would really appreciate its real velocity

yes, from the numerous reviews i've read it varies greatly depending on the temperature, just like any gas gun. the highest i've actually read it going was 550, i believe.

I used to own a gas cylinder in my old APS2-SV.
Didn't really get to use it much because for some reason it was a freak. On mere green gas the fps was too high for the hop up to handle. It would even send the heavier bb's like the .36's and .43's soaring up into the air.
As for how many shots you'll get per fill... whoever told you 100 is a nutter. I'd say you'll get around 15 or so decent shots before the power gets weaker and weaker. Could be wrong though, it's been a while.

Just trust me, there's no way you'll get 100 shots per charge.

You'll get off a magazine's worth of bb's without any trouble, all I'm saying is that the last couple shots won't be as powerfull.

Might be wrong on this...but when i think of the gas bolt, to gas it up...you might have to remove the bolt from the gun entirely, gas it, then reinstall it...
could be wrong though...but that just springs to mind

Nope, actually you have to pull the bolt all the way back, the little area where shells would exit reveals a nozzle in the cylinder and you just fill it in with the bolt all the way back, it would REALLY suck if you had to dis-asemble it to gas it up

Just remember that the gas bolt might sound great, but you'll never get consistant performance out of it like you would a spring upgrade. Temperature will be the biggest factor, as well as cool down and gas pressure. Hooking it up to an external supply would help the last two, but then you've got hoses hanging out of your gun. BTW, hope mine hurts but is'nt that insane is a really bad thought to have. Airsoft shouldn't be about hurting the other guy. It seems like upgrading for pain is getting to be a problem lately, judging by what I read on this and other forums. Safety first kids!
