Good Investment of a First AEG?

So I was wondering;
    What would be a good investment towards my first AEG? I plan to really get into airsoft, and to eventually be as much as a dedicated player as I see a lot of you on here. So I've been digging around Evike and Airsoft Megastore lately and I found a gun that I believe might be a good starter for me. Now, I know as well as anybody that decency doesn't come cheap. With that being said, I'd like to know what you guys think on the gun from a 'starter' point of view. The AEG is an A&K M4 with a full metal gearbox.

The gun itself costs around $140

For the same money I would get a G&G Combat Machine line. They are actually on sale right nor for $120ish, and are WAY better than a starting A&K.
