So like the title says I found a few Classic Army guns for sale in my general area. I'm just wondering if what hes asking are good prices since I've been out of the game for almost 2 years now. 1st gun is a CA AK47 SLR-105 A1 Seller is asking $200 OBO 2nd is a CA Mp5-sd6. Seller is asking $150 I haven't seen the guns in person yet only in photos. Its about an hour drive from me. Seller doesnt know if they work as he got them in a package deal and he has no batteries to test them out. Any help would be appreciated as id like to get back to playing but dont want to overspend. Thanks again

The price on the SLR_105 is pretty high for a used gun that they don't know if there are any issues with. You can get a new one for $7 more. www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1258The price isn't bad for the Mp5, but again you have to take in to account the unknown status of the replica.

Thanks Pagan. I made him an offer of $200 for both guns and explained what you said about the SLR being $205 brand new. Hopefully it works out well.

If you get both for $200, it's practically highway robbery.
Good on ya!

If you get both for $200, it's practically highway robbery. Good on ya! It is certainly possible. I walked into an estate sale 2 weekends ago and they had two tables full of airsoft guns that they had ZERO clue concerning their appropriate values. They had $20 Dunhams pistols labeled for $40+ next to full metal KJW labeled for $60. I bargained with them, and alleviated them of a well maintained (and from what I can tell, internally upgraded) G&G SR-25 and an Airsoft GI custom M4 (one of those in-house upgraded combat machine types) that was also well maintained, including optics, furniture, magazines, and batteries for each.... for only $300. You will never really know what you find. They key is just building up a knowledge of what brands tend to last and wear well, materials, rarity (if you are into that stuff) and the maintenance and upgrading done to the replica.
