Hey everyone! My brothers and I are considering starting an airsoft complex/field/gaming center. Well i'm leaving the military, and i'm actually sitting in a business/franchising class right now, considering options. This may not be an endeavor for anytime soon, but it has been a long time goal of myself and my brothers to make an all-in-one activity facility. I'm not sure if you're familiar with CQB city in California, or other airsoft complaxes like that, but where I live in michigan there is an ample amount of cheap property and buidings, tons of kids and families and really not much to do for the 30,000ish people there. The general, VERY general idea right now, is an indoor/outdoor facility for airsoft. The indoor being a mock representation of a town or urban environment, with heavy enough buildings to stay where they are put but not secured so they can be moved to keep a sense of freshness. (might just secure them down) The outdoor would be somewhat woodsey, or maybe two different courses. One could be a woods course, the other more open with buildings and structures for cover, but spacious. Will have many areas that will make for bases or forts so there are options on where to hunker down if needed. That's just to start, we have plans for a cyber cafe to eat both full meals or just snacks throughout the day. Wifi could be included free there or for a small fee. Most places like starbucks or even McDonalds have free wifi so that seems feesible. Also, we are all avid gamers, and with the uprise of MLG and the Xbox One and PS4 we were thinking of hosting video game tournaments in a separate but connected area. Any thoughts or concerns? As i said this is in VERY early stages, could be a few years down the road. The gaming is mostly for added fun once a month or so, with maybe a little added revenue. Thank you for your time, I appreciate you taking the time to read this!

This is probably the 3rd or 4th thread I've seen like this in the span of just the last 6 months. So don't be surprised if people aren't just bursting with excitement. Everybody loves the idea of a new field in MI, and many of us would love to run our own fields. But after putting the time and effort in to look up what we would need to do to make a fiscally viable business, well, that's where most people lose the drive. Not trying to dishearten or dissuade, but be aware that you probably won't walk away with fist fulls of profits every week. If you're going to do it then you really have to be in it for the game, not just money.
That being said, the general idea sounds cool, so If you're really committed then go for it.

honestly we should make a really good spot in jackson MI plasmafer12We have pretty strict grammar rules on this forum. I suggest you read the following: www.miairsoft.proboards.com/thread/8089/forum-rules-guidelinesEspecially this part: 7 - Please use proper spelling, capitalization, grammar, and punctuation. Not only will you get your message across much clearer, but other forum members might actually be able to reply to your post instead of trying to decipher your enigmatic nonsense. Your first post had to be edited so it would even make sense, and this one does not meet our standards either.
