Do you want upgrades or customization? Upgrades on pistols are, in my opinion are unnecessary as long as they shoot, however after searching "KWA PTP" on Evike I found very little for upgrades. There were however some spare parts. KWA, again in my opinion, make some pretty solid gas guns that perform well stock.
If you're looking for customization options then you will want something like a KJW or WE. Be aware that WE's products are of decent but not TM quality and KJW is just a bit better than WE. WE Hi-CAPA (and KJW Hi-CAPA) models have TONS of spare, special and upgraded parts, both cosmetic and performance-wise from the screws for the grip to larger mag wells and High flow valves, all of which come in an array of different colors.
If you want the most realistic and solid replica, then go with TM. The price is high but so is the quality.

No need to upgrade. It is a good pistol. Only thing I did to mine is add a metal outer barrel, and a white dot on the front sight post.

I agree with Bones. There's very little you can do for upgrading this pistol besides adding the metal outer barrel. Just be careful with these models. For normal use their fine but if you dry fire them without a magazine inserted (for testing for draw drills) you can have them snap the impact hammer on the inside. It's a pain in the ass to fix yourself since you have to strip the pistol all the way done to its smallest parts and KWA would charge you 40$ plus shipping to fix it themselves.
If you want a straight shooter out of the box their good to go.
If you want a wall hanger or something cool looking KJW would be the best bet.
If you want a wall hanger PLUS a straight shooter than save your money and pick up a TM Hicappa or MEU and install a Hurricane or Nova kit (Nova is insanely expensive though).
Used to run a KWA Mark II before I got my TM Kimber Custom Covert II finished. Never looked back.
