Great time with all that showed up! I think for a first game it was a great day, and that everyone who showed up was awesome, so thanks!



Snakeeyes I believe you left your hat at the staging area, it is a tan hat with an American flag. Or whoever lost it please PM me.

But yes. Absolutely agree with you Ozone. Weather was perfect, and the players were great.

Love the new field. All natural. Lots of tight and winding trails and dense foliage make for some deadly firing lanes and great ambush points and flanking maneuvers. I like that it even has a few open areas too that set up for some great firefights. 

Plus, Something just feels right about going swamp crawling- trudging through stanka** swamp and muck up to your knees in battle rattle.

I see a lot of potential in this field. =)

Also, I hope the shots I got for you were up to snuff

Had a great time today. This field was a lot of fun with huge potential. I think we only really played on about half of it. Greg is still blazing trails to the other islands. There were bascially three islands that we played on. Each had a wood pallet bridge for access. Those bridges are for those who don't want to get their feet wet. There are several paths cut through the bordering swamp to allow multiple access points to the islands. The deepest water I encountered was only only up to the top of your boots, so not bad at all. As Snakeeyes mentioned, thick brush with plenty of cover. I think everyone will enjoy playing here.

Thanks Greg for hosting and Flopper for reffing. Don't really have any suggestions for improving the field yet. Just get the rest of the trails cut and we can see what we really have.

Oh one more thing...if you have a fear of frogs, this place is not for you. Those damn things were everywhere! Didn't see any snakes though which was odd. Snakes could be eating frogs all day.

Had a blast with everyone that attended and the field was great. Since I have not been to any other fields besides backwoods at buddies I wont judge the field to much but from what I saw it was pretty sweet. The only thing I would like to see change is that discharging the guns in the safe zone needs to stop (only the kids did this) I got hit by 3 stray bb's and I'm glad it wasn't an eye, they didn't hurt so I didn't say anything and I didn't want to seem like a jacka**. Other than that I had a awesome time
P.S those water paths are something else, ozone got to see first hand me face plant in the water, haha good times

Greg and I strictly and sternly yelled at everyone shooting. So if it continues next game, I won't be so nice as to give them a talk.
