I'm planning on doing a current SEAL support gunner loadout. I already have aor1 combat shirt and pants, and I know that mk46's and mk48's are common. I just need help with what head gear and second line is commonly used by them.

They use 6094's, DPC's, 1961k or h forgot which one. Head gear is FAST ballistic and mich 2001.

The 1961H is the support gunner one. I've also heard it's the most universally disliked 1961. I'm pretty sure Kong either has or had one.

Coletrain, I currently run a SEAL support gunner kit. Instead of the mk 46/48, I run the 43 and I love it. I currently run a 6094 in AOR1 and a mich 2001. *Heres a pic of when I had a basejump.

Any chest rigs in use other than the 1961H? I've also heard the the 1961H is disliked by many because of the pouch placement.

Done. MK48/46. AOR1 6094/DPC toysoldier/Ferro/Flyye are your non uber expensive options unless you happen to have some good contacts. On the sides are MLCS old gen m60s. New aor1 ones would be perfect as well. The 1961H is generally disliked since it doesn't really allow you to go prone. There are a couple other aor1/2 harnesses out there IIRC. I think Knife may have had a couple. They are sort of like mlcs/sflcs harnesses, but I don't know if they are intended for gunners or what. Edit: As for head gear, FAST ballistics and ballistic maritimes are becoming more common. My fave is still a good old 2001 with an L2G05. There is now a metal replica out. www.px-airsoft.com/index.doBuy it. It will look sick. Plus that's what those dudes are rocking in this pic ^

That is the exact picture I was thinking of. I knew I had seen it somewhere, I just couldn't find it. I was thinking about doing that exact setup with a mich 2001 and a G05. Looks like I'd need a DPC, MMAC, or 6094 in aor1 which is a shame because I was hoping to do some sort or chest rig setup so I don't have to drop $1000 on a plate carrier, or buy repro stuff.

Honestly Flyye seems pretty decent. IMO it's more about the complete loadout. You can do a sweet kit with replica gear, and you can do a crappy kit with real gear. It's the finished product that makes all the difference. I wouldn't get hung up on something like that. Seals have been spotted with MC 6094s as well, so you could go that route too. Honestly though, when it comes to SEAL kits, a well done kit with replica aor1 gear (as long as it's not crappy TMC) is still cooler than a kit done with real multicam gear.

Oops, accidental double post because something timed out and I hit refresh. Speaking of which, has anyone else noticed MIA slowing down compared to other proboards? Is it just getting that much more traffic?

Okay, so it's not just me. It's not really much of an issue, and I guess it's actually nice to see that the board is getting a lot of traffic. Sorry for the off topic posts, I figured I'd at least make something of my accidental post. Let us continue on with the discussion of UB3RL33T SEAL kits.
Edit: there is a pic from the same series as I posted above in which a guy is rocking a CB 6094 with a MK48. I haven't uploaded it myself, but I think it's from Gearsoc. If you need it let me know.

Flyye's aor1 pattern does seem very close to the real stuff. I could just get a Flyye one as a place holder till I decide to drop the money on the real one, if I ever do.

Zdybel, what makes that a SAW loadout outside of your gun? Everything else is seemingly set up for a standard rifleman kit.
I'd either run a 6094 with SAW/M60 pouches to the left and right of the cummerbund flap, allowing you to go prone easier. Or I would use an older MLCS H-Harness or the newer Lightweight H-Harness. If you manage to get a newer lightweight harness in AOR1/AOR2 (which I do have a bunch of) I would also try and get the float pad for it. The specific Assault Weapons MLCS addon kit includes something like five M60 pouches and four SAW pouches as well as the floatation/padded addon. Only people trained in Assault Weapons are issued that specific kit, and none of the other MLCS kits include that pad. I'd probably be inclined to use an older MLCS H Harness personally. I haven't used the lightweight version yet, but I'm not a big fan of the fact that it is only two rows of MOLLE vs the four rows on the older one.
I have only heard terrible things about the 1961H, it is way to bulky for what it is.

Knife, my M-60 pouches are in the mail currently. I just found a quick pic of what is usuable for a kit.
