So I have a Umarex H&K G36KV on the way. I was looking at a new inner barrel being the first upgrade I toss on the gun. I was looking for some opinions of which ones are a worthy purchase since there are a large number of them and I'm not sure what to go with.

Prometheus EG 6.03mm, in whatever length you need for that gun.

To add on to what Tank said, Madbull makes great budget barrels if a prommy is to rich for your blood.

I'd side with the Prometheus 6.03.
On a side note: The Umarex (Ares OEM'd) G36KVs tend to shoot too hot for CQB out of the box. I'd suggest downgrading to an M110 spring or lower if you don't want it relegated to field.

Yeah I read about the high FPS out of the box. I'm in the process of repairing my TM 733 Commando for CQB purposes. This G36 is my field gun.

Luckily, the Ares (Umarex) G36s have the hot swap spring feature so altering the FPS is a straight forward process.
