Hey guys, I recently just purchased a great condition Javelin M4. The seller threw in two 8.4v batteries. I try putting the batteries into my gun but it's too tight in the rails. The battery won't fit. What should I do? I have two perfectly good batteries and I heard there was a fix for this exact problem. Anybody have a solution?

You sure you put them in correctly? Sometimes the wiring gets pinched and causes the handguards/rails not to close. Make sure you run the wiring on the top or the bottom rail, and the battery in the opposite side.

There's no more room to expand :\ The battery doesn't fit. I put it on the bottom, the top is completely filled by the bar that runs through the hand guard. I run the wiring on the top, the battery just doesn't fit on the bottom. It's too thick.

Can you take pictures of the battery, the foregrip/rail, and how you're trying to fit it together?

If it's a rail system, you should probably try a peq box. Most rail systems can't hold batteries.
A picture would help us all try to figure out the problem though.

The Javelin's have a larger than normal RIS. I've seen the Javelin RIS fit an 8.4v, so long as it's a Javelin RIS, possibly a Javelin 8.4v as well (or a low mAh small battery, since the cells are smaller usually the less mAh they have).

Are the rails possibly flipped wrong side up (meaning, the top rails on the bottom, and the bottom on the top)? Usually anytime with hand-guards, the wiring is always the culprit.

My wiring fits snug into place on the top. I don't think there is a difference in the handguards, though.

I've been able to fit that type of battery in other hand guards, but the Javelin might be a bit smaller. The nun chuck style battery is better suited for use in the hand guard. You may have to get a nun chuck style battery.
Have you tried rotating it 90 degrees and putting it on the side of the barrel? I used to do this with two 9.6v batteries in my kwa.

Sometimes the railing is a PAIN to put back on. I suggest a PEQ box also because 1. you can change out your battery a lot easier and 2. You don't have to waste time figuring out what is wrong I have nothing else to say
