They're just using what works best in their combat environment, but the photos you linked show the woodland AUSCAM, although it doesn't help that they have recently been fielding Multicam and modern ARs, along with Americans, British (close to multicam), Polish, and a host of other nations. So basically "Special Forces" of most nations these days means Multicam and ARs, unless you want to go to a previous point in history, then just use WD AUSCAM. Australia, much like some other countries, seem to have more lax regulations on standard kit.
