well the title basically explains it, i read in some places that you could put the mag in cold?(dunno) water to see if it leaked..
if that is true would you have to dry it off or wahtever.. maybe so it wont rust? im just not sure, if anyone knows anything about that please reply. thanks

I wouldn't recommend this water and cold temperatures are bad for mags. Yes, the metal mags would rust.

And water would seap into the gas chamber...that can't be good. Just fill up your mag and let it sit for a few days. if there's a leak, you won't be able to shoot anything from it after a period of time because the gas will have leaked out (duh) Please don't make two threads regarding the same problem, just continue the questions on the other thread.
