Not sure if this should go in this section or the "accessories" section, but anyways, here's what I found. Several of my patches have been ruined because of the thread getting snagged on something and pulling it out. And, as many of you know, patches aren't cheap. So, I had an idea. I bought a cheap bottle of clear nail polish for about $5 at my local supermarket, and proceeded to drop it and break it. Fortunately, the store claimed it was their fault that the bag had a hole in it, and gave me another two bottles free of charge. Getting on with the actual tutorial, it's actually pretty simple to do this to your patches. I find that the edges are what are getting frayed the most, so I put two coats on the edge, and, thinking ahead, put a coat on the face. So far, they are much more durable, and don't look any different. Only downside is that they don't smell the greatest Just thought I'd share this all with you, not sure if it has been done yet, but just to get it out there.

Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure to do this to my Poland patch!
