Just trying to figure out which one to get. Money isn't an issue.
Anyone have any experience with one or both of these guns? I like the look of the CA better but I'm unsure if the internals are better than KWA's. I hear KWA performs well out of the box but I don't know much about the CA proline series. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

KWA, look at the internal specs and you'll see the difference yourself. A bit more money than the Classic Army, but worth it IMO.

I haven't had any experience with CA personally, but the rumor mill has me steered clear of them for the time being. They are good platforms to build off of, but unless you're lucky, you'll have to put money into them right away (again, just off of what I've heard). KWA on the other hand, I've had plenty of experience with. I had an SR10 for a while before moving on to other styles and I loved it. Crisp trigger response, accurate, yadda yadda. Though, I've also been told that they use a few parts that may or may not be proprietary, which makes it harder to upgrade/or fix without buying original parts. Also, the rail systems are a big bitch to remove should you choose to go with a different rail.
Overall, I'm pretty confident that KWA is better out of the box. Any gun can be torn down and made to be more reliable. But if you're like me and don't want to mess with internals right when you get it, then go KWA.

SR7 all the way. I use and abuse the hell out of mine and it keeps coming back for more.

If from what I heard is right, my SR7 is still bone stock and almost 2 years old come February. To this day, I've never had any problems and the trigger response is still great on a 9.6v. I've used it in countless CQB games and outdoor games as well. A picture of mine can be seen by looking at my avatar (*note that I have an outer barrel extension on it and it's an old picture). I've been running my SR7 with just a foregrip and sometimes a suppressor so I'm not very knowledgable about the pros and cons to upgrading and changing internal and external parts. But, I do know that it's "Engineered To Outperform" a CA out of the box.

CA sucks. I used my CA M15A4 one time before it took a shit on me. So many things went wrong with it, it was literally trash. I wouldn't recommend Classic Army at all. KWA, on the other hand, is a good choice.

Do the KWA KM4 SR7, I have the KWA KM4 RIS and it is amazing! Never a feed issue, no lock ups, amazing gearbox and construction, insane accuracy. You won't be disappointed. CA is great, but I have my doubts about a few of their lines...

I'd go with the KWA solely due to the excellent (in my experience) customer support that KWA USA provides. KWA rifles don't really live up to the extreme hype that surrounds them, but they are good rifles nonetheless. My perception of KWA is that they seem more concerned than other AEG companies with building guns that are sports equipment.
My KWA SR10 seemed very nicely put together and ran quite well. Had I not wanted to switch over to a weapon that is actually issued to our our armed forces I probably would have kept it.
