For a block II M4, whats the standard length for the ris?

Depends. For the 14.5 inch normal sopmod m4a1, the 12.5 inch daniel defense ris II is used. For the 10.5 inch sopmod m4/m4 cqbr the 9.5 inch daniel defense ris II is used. The 9.5 inch version is also reffered to as the mk18 ris II. The one you probably see more is the 9.5 inch version. It is generally used by SEALs and Army SF, and seems more popular for airsofters to replicate. The 12.5 inch ris II is generally used by Rangers and MARSOC/recon Marines I believe.
