What needs to be ugraded in a shitty little CYMA gearbox, so it can properly handle a systema M130 spring? Thanks. I was trying to make it easier and less crowded in the section.)[/glow]

Internally, don't bother with dropping in a gearbox. There isn't a complete gearbox on the market that's worth the money, and there's no point replacing the shell until it cracks. Just upgrade the parts in the gearbox you have if you want better performance.

Alright, I'll take that advice. Any ideas on the externals that I mentioned?

I dont know anything specific about M14 externals, but I recommend looking on Ehobby Asia. If it says "TM compatible" then it will most likely work on a Cyma.
Sorry I can't be more specific or give links, I'm using the Proboards app on my cell so I'm kind of limited.

Be careful if you decide to drop in a gearbox. The motor housing varies from each brand gearbox. And Cyma's body or your new one may not be able to accompany a different angle. I would recommend looking into it first.
The best scope mount I know of is 85.00$ on Evike. It is full metal. I will find a link when I have the time.
As for the bi-pod... it's about comfort. You want to find the right height that you can angle your shots comfortably at any angle.

Unfortunately, "cheap in price" and "DMR" don't really go together. With the amount of externals you're looking to replace, you might be better off just starting with a higher quality base gun. But either way, I don't think it will be cheap.

But either way, I don't think it will be cheap. That's a good piece of advice. By the time you buy everything you want, you'll probably have been better off selling your Cyma and putting the money towards a G&G M14 Veteran. You'll get the real wood, the heat shield, the full length inner and outer... You'll still need a scope mount and bipod if you want one, but you'll have everything else you want, and a much better gun internally.

Scrap the idea of the full wood stock. I haven't found a good TM one in a while, and ended up modifying a UTG OD stock to replace my fake wood CYMA stock. I'd also skip on the idea of replacing the barrel assembly. A longer barrel isn't going to make much difference, and you'll end up just making the gun longer, more unwieldy, and heavier. I'd recommend the G&P metal body kit though. The CYMA metal on mine started to literally just fall apart after a year or so of limited use. I'll warn you though the screw to adjust the hop up on the CYMA isn't long enough for the G&P body. I had to take one off of a UTG. Get a G&P M14 scope mount while you're at it to match the body. As for a bi-pod, the King Arms bi-pod adapter won't add a whole ton of weight to your gun. Find a bi-pod that works with that.
As for the internals, it depends. Hop up/barrel wise I'd suggest a Systema or Guarder bucking. Keep in mind you'll have to cut the front of it a bit to make sure it doesn't stick out the end of the chamber. When looking for a barrel too make sure you find one that is TM M14 compatible. My 509mm Madbull barrel won't work in my M14 because the grooves for the hop up clip are too far forward. You could in theory, modify it to work, but you risk damaging your barrel. As for the gearbox, I really wish I had gone with a Guarder FTK, but if you're trying to do as much as you can, with as little money as you can, this is what I'd suggest. Guarder Air nozzle, tappet plate, and metal bearing spring guide to replace the junk stock ones, and an SHS hi-torque motor, along with a full blueprint of the gearbox. (re-shim, re-grease, AoE correction...etc.).
Ultimately though, you probably are just better off selling your CYMA and going with a G&G M14 Vet. I've been slowly building my M14 for something like 4 years now for a DMR build, and $400+ in externals and internals, plus a ton of sweat, tears, and even some blood, and I'm still at least another $200 plus x amount of time to get everything all locked down and working correctly before I'm done. Turning a CYMA M14 into a good DMR is doable, but it takes a ton of money and effort.
