Very few non clone AEG brands have batteries included and if the gun does come with one it is more than likely garbage. I would recommend buying a quality battery from a reputable brand such as Intellect. As far as smart chargers go I would invest in this particular model www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=24661 I've had mine for a couple of years and it's held up nicely.

You're better off without whatever battery they would have thrown in anyway. Go to www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com and get yourself their 9.6v 1500 mAh nunchuck battery and you'll be good to go. It's a great battery and a hell of a lot cheaper than you'd find it on an airsoft retailer's site.

I want to do it all in Evike though so it will be cheapest. Here is my cart so far
1 x "Holy Cow" $5 Special (2 Magazines for your Echo1, G&G, KWA AEG Purchase) 1 x Airsoft Universal Smart Charger for 7.2V~12V NiMh & NiCd Battery Packs 1 x Evike.com Special Edition G&G Full Stock CM16 Carbine Airsoft AEG Rifle - (Black) $165.00
Just need a battery from them any suggestions from that. Need to know asap for the coupon.

It will be about the same price to buy and ship your battery from EAB as it will be to buy from Evike. They mark their batteries up, so you're looking at a price differential of about the same amount as shipping from EAB. Plus, most batteries on Evike are going to use inferior cells. The best they have to offer is likely intellect, which I've always found to have a poor discharge curve and not a terribly long life cycle. Just checked and the best they have to offer for your gun of choice is out of stock: www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_174&products_id=29458The next best uses Tenergy cells, which you don't want. Trust me on this one, spend a few bucks on the battery from EAB. It's the right thing to do.
