I have an intellect 9.6v battery for my KWA KM4 CQB. After charging it all night in a standard wall charger, the battery life was only about 50-100 rounds. This has been happening to me ever since I had the battery. Will getting a smart charger fix this, or is there another problem that is deeper?
Getting a smart charger will fix the problem. As for standard wall chargers, destroy it when you get the smart charger. Also, standard wall chargers typically charge batteries within 6-8 hours but after that period of time, it'll still keep charging the battery to the point that it overheats.
As a side note, I own the KWA KM4 SR7 and on a full charge from a smart charger, my Intellect 9.6v 1400mAh battery will last me all day.

Yep, a smart charger is a necessity. A standard wall charger will keep charging the battery past its full point and therefore will ruin your battery. A smart charger will stop once the battery is fully charged. So you will need to get a smart charger as well as a new battery now, as yours is now ruined.
Or, if you want to stay with your standard charger. You will have to look on it and find the output it has. Then take the number of mAh the battery has, and divide it by the output number. The resulting number will be the number of hours the battery requires to be charged from no charge at all.

Even this is risky because once you have used it once, you will have to buy a discharger or make sure you run your battery all the way down before charging it again, otherwise you won't know how much energy is left in it and how long you'll need to charge it for.
And I wouldn't throw away the stock charger when you get a smart charger. Sometimes when you first get a battery, it is so drained that a smart charger won't even recognize it and you have to charge it on a "dumb" charger first for 20 minutes or so, then the smart charger will work. I had to do this for my intellect 1600 mah battery.
