So i found someone to buy my AK for $140. So I am going to most likely buy the G&G CM Tan M4. So it not being metal the nylon fiber is still a durable material? and this gun will last me a while?

G&G is famous for their nylon-fiber bodies, and are recognized for using some of the strongest and most durable materials in the build of their guns. A strong nylon-fiber will beat out cheap pot metal and wood any day, you will be happy with the gun.
As far as how long it will last, I would say a long time if you treat it right. You are getting a gun with G&G quality for the price of a Chinese clone, so as long as you maintain the gun, it will continue to preform for a long while. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Make sure you purchase a proper battery for it as well.
If it has a crane stock, get a crane stock type butterfly battery.
If it is wired to the front with a handguard, a butterfly type battery or mini type will do as well.

Air splat does not ship out G&G Guns with battery/charger and its $140, but airsoftgi does for $155 and comes with battery and charger with light indicator. Are there any other reputable sites i should check out before buying this gun?
Edit: Also looking at red dots not sure if i want a reflex site or tube scope with red dot.

The battery and charger that Airsoftgi include are going to be garbage. In fact, most airsoft retailers overprice their batteries and chargers. You can get the proper battery from www.cheapbatterypacks.com (I've used them for years, they make great batteries) and a charger from any hobby store. Personally, I've used this charger for maybe 6 years or so now and it's been one of the best investments I've ever made in airsoft. I'm sure it's saved me more than it cost since I haven't had to replace batteries fried by dumb chargers.

Are there any other reputable sites i should check out before buying this gun? You must buy the battery and charger seperately. Any of the two sites you mentioned are reputable, however aren't 100% reliable. I'd avoid airsplat if I had a choice, but ASGI, EVIKE, RedWolf, even local sites like AirsoftOhio may have them. I ordered my stuff off of Evike, and it arrived on time, in great condition. Invest in a 9.6 battery to get the best performance, and a smart charger to avoid overcharging and damaging the battery. Here are two you should consider: Nun-chuck/butteryfly type battery (fits crane stock AND handguard) www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_47&products_id=3372And a charger. Personally, I use the Tenergy smart charger. www.amazon.com/Tenergy-Smart-Universal-Charger-Battery/dp/B003C1HH32/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313524856&sr=8-1EDIT: Kneif hit the hammered the nail on this one. It is best to consider non-airsoft retailers for batteries; they tend to overprice their battery products. I find a larger selection of chargers for cheaper on sites like Amazon.

AirsoftOhio is a hobbyist forum like ours, not a retailer. www.airsoftsmith.com and www.airsoftarms.com are both Ohio based retailers with good reputations, however. I bought my last G&G from www.airarmory.com and received some of the best customer service I've seen from an airsoft retailer. They don't, however, have a large inventory listed on their site. But you can probably email them the full name of the gun you're looking for and see if they'll special order it for you. They offer free shipping on orders over $100, and also give you a 10% discount if you're the first person in your city to order from them (I got the discount for Ann Arbor). Evike isn't any more trustworthy than airsplat. Both have a pretty long history of sending people the wrong products or broken products and then being difficult to work with when you try to get the right stuff. I wouldn't touch either of them when there's another option available, even if you have to pay a few more dollars somewhere else.

Shit, thats what I meant. Damnit! Not my day today. Thats what I had intended to post. I meant airsoft retailers in Ohio. And if I had a choice to choose either Airsplat or Evike, I would choose Evike, just on personal preference. Neither have a good history, just sharing that I had more positive experiences with them.
