If you guys keep up with the WW2 Airsoft forums you've probably heard of this. G&G is making a Kar98. They are calling it a G98 by the way. Anyways it is powered by CO2, sopposed to fire 430fps, real wood, and is going to be in the $400 price range. Skip to 13:00 to see it in this video. The guy said its sopposed to come out in 3 months.

Looks cool, but I'd rather go WW2 with a mosin nagant. CO2 would be cool, though. I think I'm a bit more excited for the P90 and WA2000.

Anything WW2 is good with me. Zeta Labs just release a Mosin Nagant that looks pretty nice, its not gas though. I run a WW2 Airsoft team where we do US vs Germans so this is good news for me. A bit expensive but better then nothing. More information plus pictures. www.gasgunempire.de/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=419

Honestly, that is a brilliant idea. There should be more co2 rifles in the market. Co2 is cheap and abundant, much like Propane, but you get more shots per cartridge.
BUT, no company has yet came up with a velocity regulator because most Co2 guns shoot wayyyyy too hot for any field. If they do manage to make one, you could get more shots per Co2 canister, AND have a gas powered rifle, be it blow back or non blow back.
I'm glad G&G made this. Keep on innovating!
