Hi, all. Reason I came here to ask about this and I don't even live in Michigan is that many members seem to own WA GBBs. I have this gun: www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Western_Arms_Western_Arms_WA_M1911A1_U_S_Army_SCW.htm and I am wondering what type of magazine would work in it? The mag on my current WA leaks at the bottom, and if you have one of the screws too tight at the top of the mag (the screw that you use a allen key to tighten) the gas just goes straight through the mag and sprays out the top. Works fine other wise. When putting the mag in, you also lose a bit of gas. Any ideas on this? Where could I find the square type O-Ring for the bottom of the mag? Do any 1911 recoil springs work in WA 1911 GBBs? Thanks. -Griffin

Check this link out: www.airsoft-barracks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20871To answer most of your questions, it's going to be helpful to know which SCW version your pistol is. The Redwolf page isn't clear. According to Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Arms , it looks like you either have an SCW 1 or SCW 3 version pistol, since it looks like WA never made a SCW 2 version of the 1911A1. I am not sure on the answer to your question regarding recoil springs, but I imagine that the spring from a same SCW version single stack 1911 would work. The same goes for magazines. Hope some of this helps.
