I have a replica holographic site, I just got it about two weeks ago and was using it last Saturday. It was only a very light rain on and off during the game. During the game I noticed my red dot turning off, then I would turn it back on, and still would shut off a few minutes later. Now I cannot get it to turn on at all. Tried new batteries-- no go. Not sure if the rain killed it or what. It's a $50 site on airsoft club. Any ideas?

It's probably done for. One thing you could try is putting it in a bowl of rice to see if that will suck out any remaining moisture inside the site, but if you didn't do that immediately after it got wet, then the damage is likely already done.

Okay. Well I just didn't want to go out and buy a new site, and then my old one starts working again. I'll wait a few days see if it doesn't work again, if not I got a new paper weight-- and a sick one at that.

If you can't get it to work, would you consider selling it for cheap? I'd be interested in buying it for some fun. Just PM me if you that's the case.

If you have some electronic know-how odds are you can fix it man. (Depending on the type of damage of course)
Some of the components inside this cheap Chinese stuff is very easily replaceable. Try popping it open to see whats happening inside and you may be able to save yourself some cash.
