I have been offered to great deals at the evike.com. One is a KWA M11A1 NS2 GBB SMG working fine with 3 magazines: $150. The other is a KJW KP-06 "Xcelerator" GBB pistol: $100. I know that the KWA is a better deal, more gas efficient, and also shoots fully automatic. But the KJW, being a pistol, is more versatile, and is compatible with all High-CAPA mags. Which do you think I should get? ALSO: I DO have enough money for both. However, I am relatively new to airsoft, so I don't think I need 2 GBBs yet.

They're also deceptively small. Like, smaller than a M1911, when the mag is out. Also, ingrams are sexy. Not suppressed MP5K sexy, but still, they're easy on the eyes. That being said, get ready for HIGH maintenance. Like any other full-auto GBB, this thing WILL break down, much more often than an AEG. Shit will come loose, o-rings will warp, etc...

To be honest, you don't need either one. If you have an AEG, stick with that. GBB guns are cool, but entirely unnecessary for most players. Spend your money on something you can use better, like extra stuff for your primary, more camo, or better gear.
That stuff will serve you better than a gas gun you will more than likely either sell or break (or both) within a year.

I agree, it's not a "must-have" in airsoft, but it would be much better in CQB than my SIG550, and would come in handy when I run out of ammo(the SIG goes through BBs like a fat guy with potato chips, hope that acronym doesn't offend anybody...). I'm not saying that the MAC-11 would be better for ammo conservation, I'm just saying that it would always be useful to have a secondary. I do agree that I can buy better stuff for my AEG, but with the money I have, and not much to do with it, I don't see why I wouldn't get a secondary. If you have to know I have $575 and my only ideas for spending it are: A GBB, Pre-ordering hardened edtion of COD: Black Ops, a Flip UltraHD camcorder, upgrading my AEG, and perhaps buying a used second AEG.

I would do one of or both of the last two options. It looks like the 550 takes G36 mags, so you could buy a G36C for CQB.

Or a SIG 552, which will be more suitable for CQB and should for sure be able to use 550 mag...
But GBB is fun to shoot, if thats what you are after than AEG is not going to satisfy you....
Of those 2, KWA is more gimmicky, more "fun", but the KJ might be more practical...though really you probably want to look at something like a Hi-Capa or Glock as a "practical" sidearm...

KJW is HI-capa, but if I use the M11A1 on semi, it should last a while too.

KJW is HI-capa, but if I use the M11A1 on semi, it should last a while too. I wouldn't worry about which one has more rounds/last longer. I would go with the KJW, simply because of its smaller size. The m11a1 would be too much of a hassle to carry as a back up. I love smaller gbbs such as 1911s, and glocks simply because of the size and fact that they can be holstered easily.

KJW Xcelerator IIRC is a 6" Hi-Capa, with full length wide dust cover, that's not going to be easy to holster by any stretch of imagination....A regular Hi-Capa(I'd recommand buying stock TM), or 1911 would've been easier to field as a sidearm.

Was not aware how big the KJW in question was But anyways, I still stick by my answer of sticking to a pistol that is smaller and easy to holster. But apparently the KJW Xcelerator is alittle bigger than most. Thanks racingmaniac

Thanks for all the information, but I think I'll go with the KWA M11A1. Mostly for the better deal, efficiency, ROF, and 3 mags. I know I can't holster it, but I can sling it onto my back. And about the KJWs size, I know it's that big. I take it as a turn on(not sexually). I like desert eagles, but I don't like the "split" slide and most are CO2. This to me looked like a bit of a cooler alternative. I will probably purchase a "holster-able" pistol when I get the money. Speaking of money, I just spent $160 on a Flip MinoHD camcorder. It's a nice video camera, though a bit smaller than I thought. Great picture. Alright this isn't a camera review forum I guess, so I'll just stop.
