Damn, things must have changed a lot. I went to Blind Fury 4 and 5 and they were the best games I ever went to. Vehicles, props, etc etc. I didnt think that Blade and the Strikers would let it slip in quality...

I can understand your upset, however we do have some younger users on the forum and dropping the "F bomb" every other sentence is not acceptable. I would suggest modify your post.

I used the word fuck twice. You obviously haven't met me. Don't tell me to watch my mouth if and when we see eachother at MTAC.

Aww, I guess it was really bad for the civie/contractor side which when we rolled together very briefy SCAR to liberate Gold City I could understand. As I had a completely different experience. The green side was really organized, and our command had been developing a strategy weeks before the event on the event forum. Right in the very beginning (right before the start of the game) the organization kinda went down the crapper because a lot of people didn't make it on the field before the start of the game. So my platoon which was supposed to have 32 players only had about 15 people show up by the start of the game. Also nobody seemed to know our squad channel which was all on the event forum for months which was a little annoying to me as a platoon leader. But the deuces were a nice addition for the game. It was really cool too seeing our guys fire their LAWs with nerf balls at the deuces killing everyone after the 2nd hit. Sportsmanship for this scale of a game seemed to be pretty good over-all. I only had one bad experience with someone not calling their hits. EDIT: As SCAR did point out the people at the chrono station just told you your engagement limit and didn't give you any color coded tag. And yeah they did not enforce the full seal goggle rule, or at least any ANSI required ones because I swore I thought I saw some people using like swim goggles or some really small ones. No mesh goggles thank God that I saw. I actually had a lot of fun this game, but I think because our side was pretty organized. But it was nice running into you SCAR (& Mopedman), as well as meeting with you and rolling with you for a while. And then against you when you guys ambushed us at the edge of the airfield. I'm planning on attending again next year and would actually recommend SCAR to roll on green!

(Not that I am concerned with the profanity anyways) Sometimes when I count to big numbers like three, it helps to use my fingers. Maybe give that a try next time. Gunny-Get any pictures dude?

Gunny-Get any pictures dude? Unfortunately no I didn't however I was told that pics were going to be uploaded on the event site, and I'll be checking it and will definitely post a link as I'm pretty sure I was at least in a couple of them.

Juice Box, While I understand your concern, swearing has never been something that's disallowed on this forum. If SCAR is frustrated, he's well within our rules to say fuck to express it. By Proboards rules, you must be 13 years old to have an account here, so that'll be the youngest person exposed to his post. And let's not kid ourselves here, eighth graders have the dirtiest mouths out of all us. As long as SCAR isn't swearing at somebody here (which would be flaming and against the rules for that reason), it's okay for him to say fuck. I used the word fuck twice. You obviously haven't met me. Don't tell me to watch my mouth if and when we see eachother at MTAC. SCAR, I'm telling you. Watch your attitude. No, Juice Box can't tell you what to do, and that's exactly why you shouldn't be so pissed at him. He has no power over you or the content of this board beyond his own contributions, so don't let him get to you. I don't know if you're still pissed from the bad event this weekend or what, but regardless, snapping at another member like this is unacceptable. Keep your cool and treat your fellow members with the same respect you'd like to be treated with.

Easy man, he wasn't attacking you, no sense going around challenging people that you don't know to fights, it's an easy way to get your ass kicked. Closer to the topic, I have only heard great things about these games in the past, so I'm not sure if this one was a lemon, but from what I've heard, I'm glad I didn't shell out the extra coin to go all the way to this one.

Fuck, fuck, fuck...mother, mother-fuck fuck. Noinch noinch noinch...I have nothing else to say. Or however that wacky Jay sang it...
I could be wrong, but I think Scar may be a tad upset at how blind fury was ran. But I do understand his plight...I mean we go to these games expecting rules to be enforced-if anything for safety and structure. What's or wheres the sport in dropping cash on a game if it's going to be ran all cluster fuck-ish...?
Fuck counter: 6 (strong)

Juicebox, sorry bro I'm just really upset with the event, my bad for acting like a dick. You obviously haven't met me yet. Fuck is unfortunantly a part of my daily language. All bullshit aside, this event could have been bad-fucking-ass if it were ran the way a milsim event should be ran. Oh well, its all bullshit in the end.

Scar, I am truly sorry for being the shitty event host. If your comment reflects your personality as a player, I now know why we got so many sportsmanship issues this year. Yes, my guys might have made some bad judgment call. Yes, my guys could have missed looking at players goggles. Yes, I expected players to read a bit more about the event than actually signing on at the last second, not reading the forums, not answering their emails, not reading the storyline or any other details mentioning what each teams were supposed to be.
All these, were my 2010 mistakes. I did mistakes in every events and as usual, I plan to learn from them. the event gets bigger every year and with that come newer issues. Trust me and you can ask other veterans, I truly value your comments about the event and I will truly take the time to see how I can improve from them.
I have to say one thing though, I am not sure how old you are or what kind of work or even family you live in but if you are always talking with that kind of attitude, I feel sorry for you and quite honestly, I will do my best for next year and will hopefully get players that will have time to know what they are signing for.
Blind Fury is based on the concept of trusting the players. I firmly believed that referee should not be needed because I do not believe airsoft should be ran like paintball. I guess you are now proving me maybe it is time to do otherwise...sadly.

I personally had a great time at the game. I was a little upset that nearly nobody new what they were doing. I say this because almost 60% of the people really didn't understand what squad they were really in. I was in first platoon third squad and none of my squadmates were anywhere to be found, but later in the day I was talking to a few people and I recognized there name. Long story short, I found out they were supposed to be in my squad but they had no idea. After saying all this I am planning on going next year. Gunny did a great job as our plt. sgt. It was cool to se scar again and do a mission with him.

This was the worst game ever.... blah blah blah wahwah Sounds like someone got sand in their vag. Not sure what event you went to, but the one I attended (was on tan side) had vehicles - dueces and some sort of armored car driving around - pyrotechnics, some sort of loud ass explosions whatever in the westerfield near the dams (I was at Gold City a fair distance away and heard them), and I think the artillery were booming some times. I cant speak the the safety issues at chrono because I didnt see that but I did see kids taking their goggles off onfield it looks like to defog them. That was bad. but i can see they couldnt have refs everywhere that field is frigging huge. And as for the organization, if you want milsim then attend the forums to get your orders. Or make it in time for the pre-briefing. ours was over 1/2 hour long in browntown. from what i heard from other players the whole set of civilians were a bunch of asshats and retards - either that or immature paintsofters. non of em came prepared, like you. none of them knew the rules, like you. non of them read the forums, like you. i didnt get to play with ro against with the contractors much, but reading your post i can believe what i heard from the green and tan players. ...and watch your mouth, francis. ha. but while you're in here whining like a foul mouth shit, you seem to find time to post the following elsewhere: Good Event, I should probably work out and get ready better for next years. I do have some complaints on what happened during Gold City. There was a lot of blind firing and full auto shooting into buildings. While in a building and dead, with a giant red rag, I at minimum was lit up 6 times while dead. All in all, it was a good event. funny that so which is it?
