Well, I thought I would post this here, rather than in the tech question. Please move if I am wrong in posting here. Anyways, I have had this m17 for a while. After about a years use, the slide would get stuck with rounds still in the magazine when fired. I would then have to push the slide back in and shoot. Then the slide would get stuck again. Now I am no gas gun expert, but I can take apart the gun. I lubed it up and cleaned out every piece for dirt and what not. After thoroughly inspecting it, I put it back together. I range from getting 1 shot to 10 shots off before a jam, whether rapid firing or firing one shot, stopping, and then firing again. I got some help from Livonia on this on the airsoft sniper forum, but it only solved the issue slightly, as the gun still jams up. I am firing in temperatures above 75 degrees and I use propane. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong. I have the money for any parts for replacements, I just do not know what to replace Thanks Fuzzy Edit: Well I think I fixed the problem. All I needed to do was sand down a certain part of recoil spring, and that prevented the slide from sticking or jamming. I tested the pistol on rapid fire, and no jams, so I am happy. Only problem is the slide no longer locks back when out of ammo, but thats a small price to pay, especially since I was about to buy a new sidearm.

I can't imagine that this is a common enough problem with a common enough gun that it needs to go in quick fixes.

Yeah, since the m17 and all the glocks are no longer sold in the U.S. I am guessing that not many people will run into this problem. I do know however, that this does have often to the hfc m17 as my friend has this gun too, and it does the same thing. Its a simple fix though
