Ok this is my first review, but I might as well start on a gun that is truly beast. I have had this rifle for about a month now and I am truly impressed. Scopes fit on it perfectly, adjusting the hop up is a little bit of a hassle, but in the end very helpful. It is very inexpensive, which leaves extra money for upgrades!
The upgrades that are compatible for this gun are very similar to those compatible to the Tanaka M700, which is a huge bonus. I am looking to put such things in mine such as a tightbore barrel, and a silencer. For the silencer you can just buy an adapter for the gun and you don't need to go through the hassle of buying a completly new barrel. So the overall rating for the upgrades comes from the convience and the variety which is 9/10.
The price for this gun is very cheap for the quality of the gun, as i said before that leaves extra money for upgrades. Also this gun is very well built and stable which makes it a better buy. I do have to say though that magazines for this gun are extremly expensive and for how many bbs go into the magazine. So for the rating for the price I give it an 8.5/10, just because of the magazines.
The realism of this gun surprised the s**t out of me because of its heaviness. I am a fan of this because it makes it more realistic. Also the feel of the barrel makes is very realistic. And the details on the gun surprised me such as the safety being on in the same spot as the real M700. So for the realism of this gun I give it a 8/10, this is because everything is good but not great on the detail.
Next is the most important part how the gun will do out on the battlefield. It is a little inconvient because of the weight and the small magazine size, it only holds ten in each. Also snipers need range, well this gives you it. With a tightbore barrel this thing can shoot up to 150 ft. Probaly more with some very good upgrades, but you never want to over estimate. This gun is bolt action which can be a positive and a negative because when a group of people come buy you can only shoot one at a time as opposed to semi-auto, but on the positive side bolt action in my opinion makes it much more accurate. Also if this gun were to be droped it is very durable. So the overall rating on the field performance of this gun is a n 8/10, just because of the magazine and the weight.
Pros:
Accurate
Very Upgradable
Realistic
Range is tremendous
Price
Durable
Cons:
Amount of bbs per magazine (only ten, but the high cap holds 30, but that is eighty bucks)
Small magazine
Weight, this can also be a pro for some
Okay so the overall rating for this gun is a 9/10, because of the great price, and all of the other pros, but it is not one of the overall best snipers out there.
So in my opinion this is a great sniper for serious snipers without a tremendous amount of money, if you are just starting airsoft and you want a sniper get a springer and then get a gas one, that is what I did and I think it worked out great.
So people tell what you think of my first review, and if pics are needed just tell me.
