I bought my KWA Mac 11 two years ago and it has never shot right or functioned well since i got it. I sent it back to the manufacturer once and bought a new clip for it. When i try to fire it, it shoots one half powered shot, then half blows back, then shoots a crap shot and doesnt blow back. I try to re-cock it and it does the same thing. I've been told my clips are too cold so I kept them warm and it didnt change a thing. Help anyone?

It sounds like the bolt is just jamming back. Have you tried taking it down, cleaning everything out thoroughly and relubing with 100% pure silicone oil? That fixes the vast majority of GBB problems right there.

Yes i have done that 4-5 times now, the cylinder, (if thats what it's called), has a plastic thing on top of it that slides back and forth and it seems to be jamming forward.

Just to narrow down the basics, how do you fill your mags?

Most commonly, that sort of problem is caused by BB's getting out of the mag inside the open bolt, and ending up along the tracks that the bolt follows when recoiling. Since you said you've taken it down all the way, that's probably not the case. I would recommend looking for any unusual wear on the moving parts. Because this is an older weapon, some internal part might be damaged beyond function.
Also please note (if you haven't already noticed) that the reservoir on the MAC-11 magazines are very large, and thus require green gas to be added for a longer period of time than typical GBB pistol magazines. One last question; do you own a magnesium bolt version or a plastic bolt version? I have heard many a mysterious trouble with the plastic bolt, and if that happens to be the case I would recommend upgrading if you have the scratch to spare.

Ok, Im not quite sure if it is magnesium or plastic. Im not that familiar with the lingo of airsoft gas guns, Im not exactly sure what you mean by the bolt but i can try and put some pictures up. The slide and almost everything is full metal, I will take pictures and try and put them on here. If these are the two different ones you are talking about i have the metal one. I dont know if you can see it but there is a little half plastic circle on top of the metal cylinder/bolt. Im not quite sure but i think its what makes the bolt kick back and it seems to get stuck forward until i stick my finger in there and puch it back and it will fire 1 2 3 maybe 4 shots if im lucky. I just found this picture on google because im in school but if you want specific pics, let me know.

The KWA MAC11 and similar guns are very finicky when it comes to BB size and quality. I've only ever had good performance from Excel BBs, which are highly regular, highly polished, made of quite hard plastic, and often run a tiny bit smaller in diameter than other BBs.
Back in the day, Excels were easy to get and plentiful, but there's been a huge expansion in the BB market, with many new formulations in BB plastic that are totally inappropriate for the MAC11.
If that does not fix the problem, take a look at the screw inside the gun, near the back of the bolt. Mine like to reverse itself out and make the blowback action sticky. Apply a little LocTite, snug down the screw, and let 'er rip. Good luck from Beijing, China!

Thanks, but the BB's are definately not the problem. I have run about 10 different brands through it. ill take it down again and look at that screw.
