I've been researching GBB's since I'd like to have one as a backup (And since the birthday is in a few months, I can definitely get my hands on one) and I've seen this beefy gun from WA on a lot of airsoft store sites. What I can't find are reviews of it. Does anyone have any experience with this? The looks are great (I love the 'Meat Tenderizer' front end) and I'd just like to get a general feeling for performance from someone who may have personal experience with it.
Thanks!

As far as I know it's just a WA Beretta Centurion with the beefy front end added, so any reviews of the Centurion you can find should apply.

NO HOP UP....... Other than that,,,,real heavy and beefy. and you can't use the the meat tenderizer end for "imprinting proof" of knife kills!!

No hop up? Damn! What's the effective range then, 20 feet?
Guh, that really sucks. If it wasn't for the $200 price tag, I'd consider buying it as a showpiece.

I was litterally about to buy one from AT. Glad a friend pointed this out...
I heard from a bunch of ppl that this gun was identical to the M92FS 'perfect version,' which I assume has hop-up...
I know you guys at WTS had one of these things in stock, since I actually saw and held it, but how sure are you that there is no hop-up? (dumb question, but I'm in denial) Anyway...what other WA gbb's dont' have hop-up? Does the KSC Steyr TMP have it? I might get that instead...or the M92F Centurion...which I hope has hop-up...?
To reiterate an already stated question, whats the range on this thing? Does the gun have built in hop-up? (not adjustable?) Or is this thing just for a collector?
Thanks,
Chuck Dwyer

I am absolutely sure! Echo from these boards owns one and he inquired about it, so we tore it all down and nope, no hopup at all, effective range is around 15-20 yards straight shooting and maybe 35 "lobbin"
The WA Wilson High cap is also no hopup, even though it uses the same outer barrel setup as a SV infinity (which does have hopup)
There are quite a few others but I don't have a complete list........ (SEE NEW THREAD - GAS GUNS )

Yeah, I was very dissipointed with it. I did make a mod to it that helps quite a bit. I was bored one weekend and tore down my KWC bretta to see if there was a way to use the fixed hop-up on my centurion. What I ended up finding out is the inner barrel assembly fits onto the Cent and functions exactly like the KWC! The only thing that worried me was the increased power cracking the slide or the like. Its had quite a few rounds thru it and still no damage to it. I think the internals/slide is just as strong as the KWC if not more so. Granted I killed one gun to make another better, but both of my KWC mags started leaking. My attempts to repair them were... well less then successful. So unless you have a spare KWC heavyweight laying around I'd go with something with hop-up. I'd just like to say the quality of the gun is top knotch, just that nagging hop-up issue.
