Lately, I've taken to taking disassembling and reassembling airsoft guns for fun; kills time, plus I get to learn more about the internals. Anyways, I decided to sit down and take apart my UTG 870, but ran into some issues. The handle of the gun will not come off. After I took out the screws and such, I tried splitting the handle; it worked well until I hit this round thing at the back. Any suggestions?

They're not really meant to be taken apart. While we're on the topic they're really not meant to be used either

yeah...except for UTG is the same product as several other brand names that folks rave about being so great. The difference is brand names cost more money. I have a DE trishot gun and it is internally identical to UTG shotguns differing on cosmetic portions only. It is difficult to disassemble requiring a few parts to be split along the seam where it is glued. be sure of what you want to do before you open it up. I am not certain but the cylinder and spring guide are in that area, that round portion may be the rear of the guide and possibly the cylinder

Redknight he is not talking about the trishot shotguns - he is talking about the older, magazine-style 870 shotguns.
