I'm sure it doesn't shoot at 510... Not sure even most paintball markers can reach up that high consistantly. Heavier bb's would be much more practical too. Listen, guys, I know co2 and Airsoft don't quite mix. I'm still looking for a sidearm. Preferrably a co2, but in the long run a gas blow back may be the better choice. I'll keep on looking. Even if it shoots 99 FPS lower than 510, you would still have a 50 foot engagement limit. Any gun shooting hotter than 410 FPS cannot be used within 50 feet. And honestly, if you're shooting at targets out past 50 feet, you should be using your primary. As for paintball markers, they're shooting a much higher projectile. If you put the pressure that paintball guns run at into a .20g bb, you'd be shooting way over 510 fps. And just using heavier bbs to lower the FPS doesn't change the impact energy. All guns are chronoed with .20g bbs. Using a heavier bb lowers the FPS, but because it's heavier, it hits just as hard. The point of having a sidearm is to switch to it when either your primary goes down or empty, and your pistol becomes your only operational gun, or when your primary shoots too hot and you need to engage targets within your MED, and your pistol is your only legal gun. Having a pistol that shoots above 350 FPS is pointless for skirmishing. If it shoots hotter than that, you've got a 20 or 50 foot engagement limit, so you can't use your pistol at close range, which is where they excel. Almost any CO2 gun is going to shoot hotter than that. So why keep looking at them? They're pointless to bring onto the field. They're not more reliable, they're not easier to maintain, they don't perform better, they're too hot to be useful, the NBBs aren't as realistic, they generally look wa worse, and the list goes on. Unless $50 is your absolute ceiling for putting into a pistol, there's no reason to buy one. And even then, I'd just say invest in a second battery or more mags for your primary. That'd keep you in the game longer than a shitty CO2 pistol.

Unless you have money to blow or want a gun that sits at home looking pretty...well..not even that, you would be much better off with a GBB green gas/propane gun. You will be MUCH happier in the long run, I guarantee it. I hope I'm not shitting on your dreams. -Dan

Yes, CO2 handguns are perfectly capable of 510fps. The reason paintball isn't is because of how much heavier the paintballs are comparatively. If you shot an airsoft bb with the same force as it takes to fire a paintball at 320fps, the bb will push 700's easy.

Hence why Paintballs can cause much more bruising than 6mm bbs, paintballs carry more energy because they have a higher mass, even at the same exit velocity.

This thread needs to die, I have nothing else to say.
I think I've heard enough, fellows. GBB>Co2, and I understand that. I'm a little hesitant to buy a GBB as I've never owned one before. If I see a good deal in the commerce section, or find a good deal online, I'll be sure to check it out.
Case closed.

Hehe, do I sense a epic facepalm? I'm now realizing how much this thread must make you want to punch a wall.

GAHH! I thought this thread was done with! I have nothing else to say.
This thread makes me want to munch through ten walls. A sidearm is a sidearm and I'd much rather save up for another AEG than some Co2 gun. Springers work fine for now, buy when I get the opportunity I'll look further into gas.

Wingun 321 review
hey guys, i read a few reviews of the wingun 321 and they seemed really accurate, but don't be mistaken that in most places you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT play with this gun. I knew I couldn't play with it when I got it, but I just wanted one since it's such a solid build and an accurate pistol w/ a great look to it. Make no mistake that when I got it (with a newly added CO2 cartridge) it clocked at 750 FPS!! no joke. This thing WILL HURT and it should be outlawed from courses, i just bought it cuz its cool to have. Absolutely rock solid design and no problems.
**Outstanding gun but way too hot to bring to a course**
